PUBLICIST INTERN WANTED
Why be just another pawn in a large firm? Come our way and be a contributor to something that`s on the verge of being on an uprise. We are looking for college students that are at least in the second term of their sophomore year and have a focus in PR and/or journalism at either a Metro NY/LI or Boston area college. You will be issued numerous contacts and will be working directly with the show`s producer in planning and coordinating various types of PR moves. STAGE MANAGER WANTED:
Oh yeah, we really need this one! We are looking for someone to maintain order as the usual chaos that makes up our show unravels for yet another evening. The stage manager will be responsible for making sure set times are maintained and that set up times are kept to a minimum and that order is maintained throughout the night. This is a tough job and payment will be based on a cut of the door for each night. Travel expenses will be covered, but please don't think that means anything glamorous. STREET TEAM PEOPLE NEEDED:
The Circus is calling on its committed fans to help us out in our travels. We need people who are willing to spread the word about our show through passing out handbills of upcoming shows, working chat lines and whatever else is thought up to get the word out more. This will be for the most part a volunteer position filled with lots of perks – free CD’s, a few rounds on us, free admission to shows and who knows what else. FILM REVIEWER WANTED :
When Our show first began we had video atists involved with it showing shorts in between sets. Their addition was becoming an attraction of their own, but the perosn that was involved with rounding the people up bailed on us. Since then, no film work. We need someone who has a good eye and knowledge of indie film making to tap into the film communities of every city we enter to accept and review submissions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get really well networked and is motivated enough to make things happen. Payment will be based on commission and could add up to be something nice. ART REVIEWER WANTED :
Our show first began in an art gallery and every month the artwork being displayed contributed so much to the show. As we grow, we donâ€Öt want to lose that aspect. Whatâ€Ös needed is someone with a good eye for modern art in way of paintings, doodles, photographs and sculptures who is motivated enough to tap into the art communities of every city that we enter and receive and review submissions. You will also be responsible for setting up a stage plot to have the materials be properly displayed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get really well networked and is motivated enough to make things happen.
